  Crisp Sandwich!
What is a Crisp Sandwich?
"A crisp sandwich (in British English), chip sandwich, or potato chip sandwich (in North American English) is a sandwich which includes crisps (potato chips) as one of the fillings. In addition to the crisps, the other ingredients may be peanut butter, meat, cheese, tuna, ham, bologna, tomato, or any other common sandwich ingredient.

Some consider to be low-end food
While some people consider crisp sandwiches to be a low-end food, there is at least one celebrity who admits to eating them. Some people consider a sandwich without crisps to not be worth the effort. Potato chip sandwiches are sometimes referred to as "white trash cuisine" or "trailer park cuisine"."

Creating A Crisp Sandwich
"To create a crisp sandwich, a thin layer of overlapping crisps is placed on the sandwich so as to augment, but not overpower, the sandwich's main filling.

Another Variation
"Another variation of the potato chip sandwich is made entirely of bread, mayonnaise, and potato chips. In place of mayonnaise, salad cream can also be used, especially in the United Kingdom."

Fun Food Fact:
"The potato chip sandwich appeared in the film American Gangster when detective Richie Roberts (played by Russell Crowe) fashioned one for his Thanksgiving dinner."

Definition of Sandwich Ingredients:

Potato Chip: A potato chip (American English chips, British English crisps) is a thin slice of potato deep fried or baked until crispy. Potato chips serve as an appetizer, side dish, or snack. Commercial varieties are packaged for sale, usually in bags. The simplest chips of this kind are just cooked and salted, but manufacturers can add a wide variety of seasoning (mostly made using herbs, spices, cheese, artificial additives or MSG). Chips are an important part of the snack food market in English-speaking countries and many other Western nations. see National Potato Chip Day

Peanut Butter: Peanut butter is a food paste made from ground roasted peanuts. It is popular throughout the world and used mainly as a sandwich spread. see Peanut Butter Lovers Month

Bologna: Bologna sausage (pronounced /boˈloʊni/) is an American sausage somewhat similar to the Italian mortadella (a finely hashed/ground pork sausage containing cubes of lard that originated in the Italian city of Bologna). It is commonly called bologna and often pronounced and/or spelled baloney. US Government regulations require American bologna to be finely ground,[1] and without visible pieces of fat. Bologna can alternatively be made out of chicken, turkey, beef, or pork.

Tomato: Tomatoes are now eaten freely throughout the world, and their consumption is believed to benefit the heart among other things. They contain lycopene, one of the most powerful natural antioxidants.

Fun Food Facts: The original potato chip recipe was created by chef George Crum at Moon's Lake House near Saratoga Springs, New York, on August 24, 1853. Fed up with a customer who continued to send his fried potatoes back complaining that they were too thick and soggy, Crum decided to slice the potatoes so thin that they could not be eaten with a fork. As they could not be fried normally in a pan, he decided to stir-fry the potato slices.
