Tips
• Try trading food at school with your peers. However, make sure that you only do this if nobody else at your home wants it.
• Don't always bring the same lunch. Try something new!
• If you have access to a microwave, you can enjoy even more different foods, such as microwavable noodle soups like ramen, or reheat foods that lose their heat too quickly to be wrapped in tin foil or put in a thermos, like pizza.
• Try varying your sandwiches from day to day. American cheese on white bread is okay, but can become boring after awhile. Try using different varieties of bread, such as rye, pumpernickel, pita, etc. Try varying different kinds of cheeses, spreads, etc., as well. Apple butter and cheddar slices on pumpernickel bread is an interesting (and delicious) change from the more standard fare.
